The Tsey Glacier is located in the valley of the same name on the northern slope of the Greater Caucasus Range. Covering an area of nearly 10 square kilometers, the glacier is fed by the ice from the summit of Mount Adai-Khokh.
Tsey is the only glacier in the Caucasus that descends to an altitude of 2,200 meters above sea level. Just above this point, at an altitude of 2,295 meters, the Tseydon River picturesquely begins from an arch of the glacier.
