Saltyn Gorge

The Saltyn Gorge is located in the Gunib district of Dagestan, at an altitude of 1,840 meters above sea level. The Saltinka River flows through the gorge, originating on the slope of Mount Kulal. This river plunges from a height of 20 meters through an opening in the solid rock of the Saltyn Gorge, forming the only underground waterfall in Dagestan.
