The church, located at the summer camp of the Tiflis Cadet Corps, was built in a wooden eclectic style.
The exact date of its construction is unknown, however, considering that the main building of the Cadet Corps in Tiflis was completed in 1860, it can be assumed that the church was built around the same time.
Like most military chapels, the church was consecrated in honor of Archangel Michael, the patron of warriors.
By 1904, the church was functioning as an active place of worship.
After 1917, the building was repurposed as part of the “Radostny” pioneer camp, with the former church housing a craft club called “Skillful Hands.” Housing has survived to the present day.
