Kabardzhin

Kabardzhin is a mountain and an extinct volcano in the Caucasus range, with an elevation of 3,142 meters above sea level. Kabardzhin is located near Kazbek and is part of its volcanic group, also forming the watershed between the Tergi and Sno rivers. Most likely, the name Kabardzhin comes from the Ossetian ‘Kæbyrdzhyn’ (“mountainous”).
