The Еkaterina spring is located in the Borjomi Mineral Water Park, temperature of the water is warm 29°C.
The Ekaterina Spring received its name in 1841.
It was then that the imperial governor of the Caucasus, Yevgeny Alexandrovich Golovin (1782–1858), brought his ailing daughter here. After Ekaterina recovered, Yevgeny named one of the springs after her and improved the area around it.
The spring is also notable because it was near this very spot that ancient stone baths, dating back to the VII century, were discovered in 1912.
Thanks to these structures, it is known that the Borjomi water has been used for medicinal purposes for a long time.
